The Cabinet View Golf Club’s equipment fundraiser August 25 raised over $7,000 this year.

Director of Golf Jeff Dooley thanked all the participants, sponsors and donors for the fundraiser’s success.

First gross went to Keith Russell, Tony Rebo, Kirby Kulbeck and Robin Swimley with a 49. Taking second gross were Ron Hull, Steve Lefever, Wayne Johnson and Dann Rohrer also with 49.

First net was Mike Foss, Beau Thompson, JR Rebo and Micah Germany with a 41. Second net was also a 41 from Jerad Dill, Ray Medley, Alex Schlund and Dustin Haugen.

#1, long drive: Ruth Fenn

#3, KP: Bobbie Lacklen

#6, long putt: Pat Neils

#7, KP: Mike Foss

#11 KP: Dee Wright

#15 KP: Jimmy Mee

#17, long putt: JR Crismore

#18, long drive: Eric Andersons

Women’s league golf for Aug. 29

The Cabinet View Women’s League had their final meeting of the season on Wednesday, Aug. 29 with a game of tee-to-green low score.

Dee Wright led group ‘A’ with a 31, and Anna Guthrie had the low score for group ‘B’ with a 37.

Wright shot a 47 for low gross for group ‘A’ and Bobbie Bamford had the group ‘A’ low net with a 33.

In group ‘B’ Anna Guthrie had low gross with a 57 and Donna Havens had low net with a 39.

Havens also had a chip-in birdie on hole #11.

Hole-in-one

On August 20, Dave Shipley had a hole-in-one on hole #3 at 150 yards with a six iron. Witnessed by Mike Managhan, Jay Adams, Jim Mee and Wayne Haines.
