•Sat., March 16, 9 a.m.: Fur handling clinic by the Montana Trappers Association and Montana Fur Harvesters from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2318 Granite Creek, Libby. The event is open to anyone looking for a hands-on opportunity to learn about fur handling techniques, ethics and safety. Participants should bring a chair and dress warmly. A lunch will be provided. This clinic is not a general trapper education or wolf trapper class. For more information on those opportunities, contact Tom Fieber 250-3386 or tfieber@bresnan.net. Organizers request that those interested RSVP to enable them to better plan lunches.

•Fri., March 15, 6 p.m.: Astronomy Club meeting at 324 White Avenue, Libby. Kathy Nielsen will be giving a presentation on “Our Nearest Star.” Theresa Muniz will be bringing her soup pot. •Fri., March 15, 7 p.m.: Pitiful Players present “Cinderella” at K.W. Maki Theatre in Libby. Admission is free.

•Sat., March 16, 6 p.m.: Annual spaghetti sauce competition at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2056 Highway 2 (half a mile south of the Libby Heritage Museum). Admission is free.

•Sat., March 16, 7 p.m.: Pitiful Players present “Cinderella” at K.W. Maki Theatre in Libby. Admission is free.

•Sun., March 17, 3 p.m.: Pitiful Players present “Cinderella” at Lincoln Theatre in Troy. Admission is free.

•Tue., March 19, 5 p.m.: Libby youth softball/baseball registration in the Libby Elementary School lobby from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration for first child is $45, $40 for a second and $35 for third and subsequent children. Payment is due at registration.

•Thur., March 21, 6 p.m.: Brew for Benefits for Kootenai Pets for Life from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cabinet Mountain Brewing in Libby; $1 of each beer sold goes to support KPFL.

•Thur., March 21, 7 p.m.: Kootenai Karacters present “The Music Man” at the Libby Memorial Events Center. Live theater and orchestra from local actors/actresses and musicians. Proceeds go to support youth involved in Libby speech and drama club, bands and choirs.

•Fri., March 22, 7 p.m.: Kootenai Karacters present “The Music Man” at the Libby Memorial Events Center. Live theater and orchestra from local actors/actresses and musicians. Proceeds go to support youth involved in Libby speech and drama club, bands and choirs.

•Thur., March 23, 9:30 a.m.: Crazy Days at Turner Mountain from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A day filled with games, costumes and prizes.

•Sat., March 23, 7 p.m.: Kootenai Karacters present “The Music Man” at the Libby Memorial Events Center. Live theater and orchestra from local actors/actresses and musicians. Proceeds go to support youth involved in Libby speech and drama club, bands and choirs.
