Libby Game Warden Tamie Laverdure needs some help. Several whitetail and mule deer have been found shot with only their backstraps removed in the Powerline and Ziegler Mountain areas.

“Other game wardens have told me there is a legacy of ‘camp meat’ or ‘party meat’ in these areas,” Laverdure said, referencing practices where hunters simply take the meat they need for a day and leave the rest.

Just got a report the FWP killed a mountain lion on Cox Lane up Iron creek. I wonder if we'll hear the same rhetoric when they killed Spanky?

It will be fun to be back...I can tell already. 8ROLL and his minions bring nothing to the discussion but more conspiracy theories. You guys lost...take your little bat and ball and go home like when you didn't get you way on the playground...Man, I hope they post this one in the paper.

Here come more of the INSIGNIFICANTS being lead by a person who would try to run over another HUMAN being. And, yet, he wants to take away people's rights to defend themselves and their property. Can you spell liberal????

I missed you, MR. Nothing unifies the good people of this town like confronting bigotry and ignorance. Welcome back.

It's worse than that MR. They may even BRAG about their bloodlust on a public forum, like this one, but hide behind a screen name because they know how utterly messed up they are. Yo quiero justice for Chihuahuas.

billibutcher...you are very right. A poacher IS one of the lowest forms of humanity. Unfortunately there are way too many cases where the criminal won't be prosecuted because it comes down to a "he said, she said" situation. You almost have to catch the vermin in the act to get anyone to prosecute without a plea deal.

It's like you go out of your way to be wrong, MR. I'll be the first to acknowledge that I am insignificant. But that isn't the topic of the article either, is it? Can you focus long enough to stay on topic? We're talking about mindless cretins who kill helpless animals just for the thrill of bloodlust. Your experience with the neighbors Chihuahua makes you something of an expert on the issue. Killing for sport, whether done by a wolf or some despicable gun slob, is an issue any ethical hunter can clearly see as a threat to our Montana way of life. I wish the good Warden luck in her investigation.

8ROLL...what is really sad is that although many in Libby know you are soooo insignificant, you don't!

I will be one of the first to call out FWP when I think they have botched the mission ie, Spanky and wolves. However, in my mind there is no lower form of scum than a poacher, so I wish I had the info the warden needs, but alas I do not. If someone out there does have pertinent info I would encourage them to contact the warden.

MR, you're off topic. There is a thread for election results. Thyis thread is about wildlife management and your insistence to take anything that bothers you out of the gene pool. You can openly discuss all the "vermin" you want to shoot here.

8ROLL...glad to see you have healed up from your back side kicking last Tuesday. How long will it be before you come up with more conspiracy theories? One thing the losing candidates need to recognize from this election is that the ones who were tied to you or perceived to be tied to you all lost. You are a cancer on this town and will continue to be. Please get a job, any job, so you can use up some of your negative energy. "A negative mind will NEVER give you a positive life." Don't know who said it but it is true, isn't it?

MR knows what she is talking about, she poached the neighbors Chihuahhua. Why don't you just take the wolves out of the gene pool MR? You advocate violence against people, dogs, cats, and other vermin, show some consistency in your viglilantism. Like the poster in Doug Rolls office says, "smoke a pack a day".

I'm with good company. There are thousands of hunters across Montana who will continue to be "rude and sarcastic" until the 'experts" at FWP prove they are listening to them. They live in a bubble and only take in data from within their own agency. Typical government bureaucracy. The only thing that is REAL for them happens between themselves. The general public is treated like a bunch of knuckle-dragging hillbillies that don't know anything. THEY are the educated idiots who brought us the grizzly bear, the wolf, and MORE restricted hunting opportunities in the very near future.

I wonder how many genetically gifted progeny Spanky would have produced if Tamie hadn't poached him? She'[ll get no help from me.

"This cow elk was just shot and left,” Laverdure said. “That has a big impact on the population. By this time of year it was likely bred.” Hmmm. I guess all the elk wolves kill and leave to rot does NOT have an impact on the population. Their answer to this will be to restrict hunting opportunities because there are "just too many humans taking "party" meat. These people are absolutely clueless. They can say all they want since they can report to the media without any verification whatsoever.

            "Party meat".

I'll bet it was those wolves again.
