Bruce Carrier, member of Masonic Lodge No. 85 in Libby, presents a check for $5,000 from the Montana Masonic Foundation to Kay Randall, the K-12 Librarian for Troy Schools. Troy High School will use the grant funding to purchase 35 Chromebook computers to provide digital media and Internet access to students. Matching grant funds were also provided by Revett Mining Inc.

Gerard worked at the Venture Inn for more than 30 years and asked that presents not be given to her for the occasion. Bunn chose to donate the picture to the museum in Gerard’s honor.
Featuring some of the finest bluegrass music in Montana, Two Bit Franks is returning to the Libby at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Memorial Events Center. The show will feature original music, classic bluegrass and some great adaptations of other tunes.
