The Western News, a twice weekly newspaper located in Libby, Montana, was one of the first Montana newspapers to go on-line and the first of Montana's smaller newspapers to publish on-line.The first issue appeared in early Spring, 1995 with our Spring and Summer Visitor's Guide. Our aim is to show to the world a weekly snapshot of the communities of Libby and Troy in northwest Montana. Western News Online is updated twice weekly on Wednesday and Friday morning.
